Once you’ve tried this there’s no going back

I had this out at a cafe and was blown away and pleased to track it down .. the taste is so much better than any other brand … my only negative is I wish it would come in a squat jar to make it easier to get the last dregs out .. although nothing is wasted as I usually swirl with hot water and add to whatever I’m cooking .. 🍅

Splendid.

Another good, efficient and timely order for my favourite sauce. Both are good, less 'vinegary' than common brown and ketchup. But the brown sauce should have a better name. It is for my tastes, exquisite, nothing to touch it on pork pie and cold meats. Brilliant on all sausages. You will gather I can't live without it, so have to order it online. Thank you Tiptree, you've hit the mark yet again.

Our History

Our History

The ‘Tiptree’ story begins around the early 1700s with Trewlands, the farm that was later to become the main site for jam-making in the Essex village of Tiptree. Today, there are some 11,000 inhabitants in what may well be the largest village in the country.

Today, we have a plentiful supply of a huge range of fruits, sometimes in many different varieties too. Yet it wasn’t always that way and thousands of years ago, the very first preserves were created in order to store that goodness for year-round use.

Our farm is LEAF Marque accredited (Linking Environment And Farming), recognising that we work sympathetically with our environment and encourage links with our local community. Fruit crops include strawberries, raspberries, mulberries, Morello cherries, rhubarb, damson, Victoria plum, greengage, quince, and the curious medlar.
