Best Marmalade!

I’m not normally a marmalade fan but this one…. I’m now addicted to. A lovely difference to the normal orange the blend of orange and tangerine is delicious.

So tangy

I love this marmalade. It's so tasty, and not too sweet. I've been using it regularly since I discovered it about 10 years ago. As my supermarket has ceased to stock it, I buy direct from Tiptree, and it's so worth the trouble.

About Us

Our History

The ‘Tiptree’ story begins around the early 1700s with Trewlands, the farm that was later to become the main site for jam-making in the Essex village of Tiptree. Today, there are some 11,000 inhabitants in what may well be the largest village in the country.

FRUIT

Today, we have a plentiful supply of a huge range of fruits, sometimes in many different varieties too. Yet it wasn’t always that way and thousands of years ago, the very first preserves were created in order to store that goodness for year-round use.

Farming

Our farm is LEAF Marque accredited (Linking Environment And Farming), recognising that we work sympathetically with our environment and encourage links with our local community. Fruit crops include strawberries, raspberries, mulberries, Morello cherries, rhubarb, damson, Victoria plum, greengage, quince, and the curious medlar.
