This delicious jelly has superb flavour, clarity and depth of colour.

Delicious Crab apple jelly!

I used to make my own crab apple jelly until a couple of years ago when our crab apple tree lost all its fruit. It hasn't fruited again sadly. I searched for an alternative & found Tiptree did their own. I have ordered 12 jars so far & can honestly say, it is no different to my home made & is absolutely delicious.

I have been eating your crab apple jelly for years and it is nearly as good as my grandmother use to make from the crab apples that grow in her garden

About Us

Our History

The ‘Tiptree’ story begins around the early 1700s with Trewlands, the farm that was later to become the main site for jam-making in the Essex village of Tiptree. Today, there are some 11,000 inhabitants in what may well be the largest village in the country.

FRUIT

Today, we have a plentiful supply of a huge range of fruits, sometimes in many different varieties too. Yet it wasn’t always that way and thousands of years ago, the very first preserves were created in order to store that goodness for year-round use.

Farming

Our farm is LEAF Marque accredited (Linking Environment And Farming), recognising that we work sympathetically with our environment and encourage links with our local community. Fruit crops include strawberries, raspberries, mulberries, Morello cherries, rhubarb, damson, Victoria plum, greengage, quince, and the curious medlar.
