Ingredients

30g Tiptree Red Currant Jelly, plus extra for dunking

6 high-quality pork sausages

1tbsp dried oregano
-
1 x 320g puff-pastry sheet, chilled

1 egg, beaten

Poppy seeds

Salt and pepper
Directions
Preheat the oven to 180C Fan and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Remove the sausage meat from the casings and put in a mixing bowl.
Add the Tiptree Red Currant Jelly and dried oregano then season with salt and pepper. Mix well until fully combined.
Unroll the pastry and roll out until the long side is approx. 43cm. Arrange the sausage meat down the centre of the pastry.
Brush the egg mix along the bottom of the pastry then lift and fold around the meat. Push down to seal then trim off the excess pastry at the top.
Seal along the pastry with a fork then cut into 8 equal pieces. Transfer each one to the baking tray.
Lighting brush each roll with the beaten egg then sprinkle with poppy seeds.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the pastry is golden brown and the meat is cooked through.
Dig in and enjoy these scrumptious sausage rolls hot or cold!
