The Wilkin family have been farming at Tiptree, Essex, since 1757, and making quality preserves there since 1885. We grow a wide range of traditional English fruits and use them to make conserves, condiments, and other treats in our nut-free factory by the farm.
Walter Scott, Chairman of Wilkin and Sons and Grantee of the Royal Warrant, said “We are honoured and proud that His Majesty has granted us his Warrant. Every member of staff understands the importance of this and we are delighted to continue this tradition.”
Wilkin and Sons Ltd received our first Royal Warrant from George V in 1911 and each subsequent monarch has maintained the tradition. A Royal Warrant has, for us, always been the best indicator of quality and service and this is recognised by customers both at home and across the globe. It is also a reflection of a strong ethical and environmentally sustainable approach, which is very much aligned to our values. Every member of our team takes pride in our Royal Warrant, particularly so when we have been lucky enough to have received a visit from a member of the Royal Family.
